Southern Idaho Solid Waste Landfill Gas-to-Energy Project

Project Description
The Paragon Consulting, Inc. and ASSET Engineering team has been selected to represent the Idaho Seven Member Agencies in the design, bid, and construction supervision of the Southern Idaho Solid Waste Landfill Gas-to-Energy project. The Landfill had piping and a flare installed in previous years to determine land fill gas (LFG) supply. The supply predictions resulted in a plan to install two (2) 1600 KW generators initially with provisions for an overall plant design to facilitate the expansion to a total of four units over the life of the land fill. ASSET Engineering (ASSET) was chosen by Paragon to provide the electrical engineering and design services for the project.
