ASSET Engineering Grows by Welcoming Daniel Crist

Local engineering firm expands capabilities by hiring veteran Project Engineer

ASSET Engineering grows its team and expands capabilities by hiring Daniel Crist. Crist will serve as the company’s newest Project Engineer where he will be developing relay and protection controls, performing power studies, assisting in substation design, and will work directly with customers to ensure project accuracy and timely completion.

Before joining ASSET’s expanding roster of electrical engineering professionals, Daniel worked as an Application Engineer and Technical Sales Support Professional at a leading industrial manufacturer of high voltage electrical equipment in Richland, Mississippi. In his role here, he gained valuable industry experience in managing and developing regional utility accounts across the United States, performed detailed technical reviews for various clients, provided product solutions for larger investor owned utilities, and more.

Crist is a proud graduate of Mississippi State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While in college, he held a Junior Technician position at Siemens and served as a Program Associate for the university’s MaroonX Accelerator Program and held several leadership positions at Theta Tau: Professional Engineering Fraternity.

Hailing from Hoover, Alabama, Daniel and his wife now live in Brandon, Mississippi. In his free time, he enjoys playing videos games, playing the guitar, and spending quality time with his wife hiking and working on their home. Daniel is also a self-published author and entrepreneur – he’s self-published a kids tabletop card game and written his first joke novel.

ASSET Engineering is recognized as a specialist in power systems design and construction management firm for utility companies, independent power producers, and large industrial and institutional power users. They are dedicated to providing clients with quality electrical engineering solutions through a focus on innovations in the engineering industry.
