David Meadows – Graduate Engineer

Graduate Engineer hired among a growing roster of engineers for expanding consulting firm.

Canton, MS – ASSET Engineering, an expanding consulting firm specializing in power system engineering, is proud to announce that David Meadows will be joining the headquartered office as a Graduate Engineer. Mr. Meadows graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in May of 2022. However, this is not Mr. Meadow’s first experience with ASSET; he was originally hired as an engineering intern during the Summer of 2021 and even returned the following Winter Break.

In his promotional role as a Graduate Engineer, he will be helping our electrical engineers create designs such as grounding grids, single lines, three lines, and more. He will also be supporting the team by conducting electrical power system studies and analyses like short circuits, arc flash, and more. One of Mr. Meadows first projects as a full-time engineer, is to provide an electrical system review of a large VA hospital in Louisiana. Mr. Meadows is working to receive his first Professional Engineer (PE) certificate and he believes the hands-on experience he has gained and continues to receive will help him grow as a power systems specialist.

Hailing from Grenada, Mississippi, Mr. Meadows has a passion for golf and spending time the great outdoors hunting and fishing. ASSET Engineering is proud to have him join the team – full time! We are ecstatic to offer him valuable professional experiences that he will carry throughout his career.
