Local engineering firm hires experienced Project Controls Specialist to join their expanding team in Central Mississippi
ASSET Engineering is pleased to announce Greg McKnight as the newest addition to our team. McKnight comes to our firm with over 28 years’ experience in project controls and logistics coordination. As the company’s Project Control Specialist, McKnight will serve in an integral role working with our engineering department to oversee their project budgets, help monitor key project metrics and perform quality control reviews to ensure projects stay on task and under budget.
Greg McKnight brings years of hands-on of expertise and fresh insights to ASSET Engineering. His professional history has granted him the ability to work in a myriad of industries such as industrial, municipals, State and Federal for both small- and large-scale projects.
Hailing from Jackson, Mississippi, Greg McKnight earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mississippi State University in 1993. For nearly 20 years, he has lived in Brandon, Mississippi with his wife and their dog, Finn, where he is highly involved in his community. Greg is involved in the Economic Development Association of Rankin County, Mississippi Manufacturers Association, Jackson Homebuilders Association, Association of Builders and Contractors, and the Water Environment Federation. McKnight enjoys spending his weekends traveling and competing in BBQ contests across the Southeast.
