Established in 2000, ASSET Engineering is a consulting firm recognized as a specialist in power system design and analysis. Our team is anchored by veteran power system design leaders and a growing team of control system professional engineers. We provide our clients decades of experience in specialized electrical engineering design, protection and control systems, and project management services. Our clients include utility companies, independent power producers, and large industrial and institutional power users. Over 100 clients have relied on ASSET Engineering for optimized electrical designs that have stood the test of time.

R. NEAL RICH, P.E.
Managing Partner / Senior Engineer
In addition to being the founding principal and managing partner of ASSET Engineering, Mr. Rich is a Senior Engineer with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of power systems design, installation, operation and maintenance, including; transmission systems to 500kV and 34.5kV utility and industrial substations. He has managed projects up to $50MM total installed cost. In his role as managing partner, Mr. Rich is responsible for the complete operation of the firm. He manages the overall structure and operational direction of the company, including the development and maintenance of company strategies and vision. Prior to founding ASSET, Mr. Rich led the substation EPC group for General Electric. He now leads and mentors our team of professional engineers sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise on a broad array of client projects.
Mr. Rich is an active member of the local community and a dedicated civic leader. He works through participation in the local chamber, various committees and religious institutions to help enrich the lives and environment of all those in our shared society.
