ASSET Engineering Celebrates Relocation Announcement
Growing engineering firm announces expansion and relocation of their Jacksonville Beach office to the City of Jacksonville.
Jacksonville, FL – June 1, 2020 – ASSET Engineering, a leading power systems engineering and construction management firm headquartered in Canton, Mississippi, is pleased to announce the relocation of their Florida office from Jacksonville Beach to the City of Jacksonville, effective June 1, 2020.
ASSET Engineering sees this change as an opportunity to grow as a company, expand its capabilities, and continue to develop its strong client relationships in the region. A representative office in the Jacksonville area provides ASSET Engineering with the perfect location to provide the best of service and support for clients based in the state of Florida and in southeastern Georgia.
Josue Sanchez, CPQ, one of ASSET’s Senior Project Engineers, will be making the move to the new location. Sanchez brings over 16 years of experience working for utilities to the ASSET team. His strength areas consist of project management, power systems engineering, planning, operation, and maintenance for protection and control systems, and power distribution. Sanchez possesses additional skills, experience, and certifications that expand ASSET’s capabilities and service offerings.
Sanchez previously worked for PREPA for 12 years and at the City of Ocala Electric Utility for 4 years before joining the ASSET team. He has an excellent knowledge of the needs of electric utilities, especially Municipal Electric Utilities, and an excellent working relationship with the Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA) and Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA). Josue Sanchez, CPQ will be working on active projects for several of our municipal utility clients and hopefully soon some of the other regional utilities in Florida.
