Senior Project Manager hired for expanding electrical engineering firm.
Canton, MS – ASSET Engineering, a growing firm specializing in power systems design and analysis, is proud to announce that Ian Beason, PE, has joined our Florida Branch Office as a Senior Project Manager. Beason graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida, Arkansas, Kansas, and Alabama. In his role as a Senior Project Manager, Ian will provide project management leadership to ASSET’s Florida projects, provide technical support for business development, and support proposal efforts in Florida.
Beason has 20 years of experience in power delivery projects, having worked most of his career leading medium and high voltage projects in the state of Florida. His areas of specialization include substation engineering, and related controls systems. Ian Beason comes to ASSET with a stellar record of accomplishments and a reputation as a leader in coordinating and conducting utility engineering work.
Beason, his wife Nathalie, and their two sons, Samuel and Noah, are from Longwood, Florida. Together they enjoy long drives and tv, and Beason enjoys officiating soccer matches and working on cars. He looks forward to developing new relationships and bringing his significant knowledge and experience to our clients’ projects while contributing to ASSET’s continued growth.
