Meet Boykin Brister, ASSET Engineering’s Latest Graduate Engineer
Ridgeland, MS – ASSET Engineering is proud to announce the appointment of Boykin Brister to Graduate Engineer. With his exceptional academic background and passion for the power industry, he was previously involved with the ASSET Engineering Summer Internship Experience where he made significant contributions to projects and initiatives. Some of those contributions included physical protection and control studies and the development of wiring diagrams for a major industrial client.
With his promotion to Graduate Engineer, Mr. Brister’s primary responsibility will be to assist senior engineers on various projects where he will further his knowledge and skills in power system engineering, paving the way for a successful professional career. His current projects include the development of wiring diagrams, harmonic distortion studies, and wind turbine single line design and updates for projects across the United States. Mr. Brister’s diverse skillset and commitment to excellence position him as a valuable engineer and team member.
Hailing from Tupelo, Mississippi, Boykin Brister considers his hometown an integral part of his identity. In his free time, he enjoys farm work with his grandfather, golfing, and honing his skills in video editing. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Industrial Engineering. Notably, he completed six co-op/internship semesters with a large industrial facility and a utility. Mr. Brister is a proud third generation engineer and has since brought a wealth of experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to his new role.
